Amanda informed me today that she's done blogging until after the baby's born. The irony here is that she hasn't posting anything since November, that may be the longest maternity leave ever. However she gets a free pass for making dessert this evening. If you ever buy the raw Costco tortillas try cooking them with some melted chocolate chips, then topping them with ice cream and chocolate sauce. It's the closest thing to the Chocolate Chip Calzone at Claim Jumper (greatest dessert ever).
We've had a busy two and a half months. I spent 26 of the first 28 days of December on the road, the majority of which was our 16 day road trip to Palm Springs and then EDH for Christmas. We also spent 5 days in Utah in early January for a work training/snowboard trip followed by my cousin's missionary farewell. The bad news is we left the camera at home so no pictures of Shane's first visit to the snow.
Our travel schedule has slowed (even mine) so now it's back the old routine with the ocasional trips to Disneyland and the beach. Amanda's stomach is still growing and the baby is in almost constant movement. Our assumption is that the kid won't last in there until May 26th. As far as names go we're leaning towards Kendyl. Mostly because I'm a narcissit and want each of my kids to have some portion of my name. The other option is Kayla, but I'd be too tempted to always refer to her by her first and middle name "Kayla Jane" in a Southern accent.

Haha, see... I bug Amanda about blogging and something gets posted. =) Yay for Ken for posting too... I don't think would even THINK about posting. lol. It looks like you guys had a fun couple months! I like the name Kayla too!
I'm not biased at ALL but I love the name Kendyl. Super cute! Honestly, I did not like my name growing up because it was 'unusual' but now I LOVE that I don't have the typical name. I am hearing more and more Kendyl's though. In my ward here, there are 3 of us! Most spell their name Kendall and I always get people complimenting on my spelling. So, there you go...I'm all for Kendyl! Hope you guys are doing well and that you're feeling good, Amanda. Ken...no traveling this time when Amanda is 9 months prego or you're busted! Keep us posted!

Yea for a new post. So, you're having a girl? I have really been wanting to know. So exciting!! I really think we should meet up at Disneyland one of these days. We have passes now too. It looks like you had a great past 2 months.
