At the end of July the kids and I joined Ken on a business/vaction trip up the central coast stopping in Ventura, Solvang and Pismo beach. Our final destination was Sacramento, where we spent a week before coming back home. All in all, both kids did an amazing job. All I gotta say is thank heavens for portable dvd players and Redbox rentals.

When Ken's family was in town for Kendyl's blessing we went to the Aquarium, played at the beach and had a picnic with a rousing game of duck duck goose at the park.

Kendyl was blessed on July 12th, in the same dress that was bought for her Aunt Laura, it was also worn by one of Ken's cousins.
