We spent Memorial Day evening just a stone's throw from the Mexican border watching one of the greatest rock bands ever live in concert. I heard that earlier in the tour the band didn't sound too well since they've spent about 20 years apart, but they were fantastic last night. One thing that doens't really come through on their albums is how awesome Andy Summers is on guitar, he had some killer solos last night with Sting wailing on the bass that made us all want to go home and jump on guitar hero. Their songs sound even better live than they do on the ipod.
As you can tell from the photos we were way up on the grass, which was great except we were surronded by several individuals who chose to "partake". That may be why the concert sounded so awesome. Needless to say everyone in the car was very hungry on the ride home. Great show, thanks again to our benevolent friends who hooked us up with the tickets.
