Life in North San Diego county has it's flaws. High cost of living, rapidly declining value of real estate, and gas is just about to hit 4 bucks a gallon. But on a perfect afternoon in March when it's 70 degrees and the tourists haven't invaded yet there's no better place on earth.
Shane loved going in the water last summer and would freak out when it was time to leave, the promise of In-N-Out french fries was the only thing that would get him to relax. He's very anxious to get in the water this year and hasn't figured out that its too cold still. He also told me during a trip to a surf shop that he wanted a surfboard that was "his size". In Shane's mind a bogey board is a Shane sized surfboard. Here he is playing in the breakers, what a stoked little guy

K- right where that photo is taken- by the pier- that's where we were today.... surrounded by everyone else in this county and their sister's kids! Still fun, tho :)
You live in the best place on earth. well..close to. I miss it and so these pictures make me VERY jealous!
And okay, WOW, your little guy looks so big! Last time I checked out your blog he was a baby! SO cute! HOpe you guys are doing great...looks like it!
